very good site mate, you have given me a few more things to think about when Im putting my poems together. ( http://www.robbospoems.co.uk ) but my all time favourite is as follows!
Geology shows that fossils are of different ages. paleontology shows a fossil sequence, the list of species representing changes through time. Taxonomy shows biological relationships among species. Evolution is the explanation that threads it all together. Creationism is the practice of squeezing both eyes shut and shouting “DOSE NOT”

I am not an athiest, but I really enjoy these quotes. Many of which make complete sense and all deserve contemplation. I despise more than anything, the fact that people on both sides are so damn insistent that they are right and never bother to have open minded conversations on the subject. I think it would be great if people who went to church viewed some of these comments with an open mind and were able to take the blinders off and debate things of this nature rationally and without getting crazy. I’d also like to see athiest, many of whom are just as pompous as the Bible crowd, open thier minds to the thought that maybe they aren’t the know-it-all’s they’d like to believe.

I dont understand why Visarga (one who have added counter-comments) dont understand that there is no Good or Bad in this world. Neither there is a God nor a Devil. Its just us. We are the (so called)God for ourselves to be frank. For then you have every right to do what you want to do. Whether you want to live or even to commit a suicide. The world will remain even if you die or if you life for a million years. Your mom would never love u as she does now if you are just her neighbour. Your siblings & friends will sacrifice their life for you only becuase you are the same to them. Not if ur a stranger. So whether you want to live or die better do it for YOURSELF. You will never be as beautiful and as intelligent as you are today. Theoritically Speaking, LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL becasue it is already DOOMED!!! And neither the Beauty nor the Doom was created by the(so called terminology) GOD!!!.

Yeah. I’ve never seen a group work so hard at remaining ignorant as the Christians in our area. And that’s not enough for them. They want to bring us along. :)
