It is a symptom of having a higher education, and thus being better able to plan your life and having a career to take care of. Now, I'll ask a question that you won't answer: Can you name any prominent Liberal with a family of more than three children? America will continue to become more religious and conservative over the next couple of generations. Why? One reason is: look around you, who are the people that are having large families? It is the religious people and the socially conservatives. The Liberals and Atheists are not reproducing. Of course there are exceptions to this general swipe. So much for...the urge to get your genes into the next generation. It ain’t gonna happen. America will continue to become more religious and conservative over the next couple of generations. Why?
