"What's "God"? Well, you know, when you want something really bad and you close your eyes and you wish for it? God's the guy that ignores you." - Steve Buscemi (From the movie "The Island")

Vatican To Train More Exorcists!

The Vatican seems to be getting a lot of press lately. If you haven’t heard, they are using the money you donate to train exorcists. Welcome back to the dark ages.

From the article:

Under plans being considered, each bishop would have a group of priests in his diocese who were specially trained in exorcism and on hand to take action against “extreme Godlessness”.

How much training do you need to be an exorcist? You need “holy” water and a bible. Be gone evil spirit, be gone!

The Vatican is concerned that young people are being exposed to Satanism through the media, rock music and the internet.

Be cautious rock lovers, if you’re caught listening to rock music, you will be exorcised!

If the catholics want to waste their money on exorcisms, I do not really care. It’s better than funding African projects that lie about condoms.

One of the catholics’ new sins is to not accumulate excess wealth. I guess that this is a way for them to get rid of some cash.

Nice blog by the way…my first visit…just subscribed to your feed.

How wonderful. Such are the eccentricities of life. Where would Monty Python have been without the Church?

Time for a new generation of pythonists to get going!
