Fitna Removed From LiveLeak
I was planning to watch the controversial movie “Fitna” on LiveLeak.com and write a summary / report on it, but as I settled down to do so, I found a lot of reports from various other blogs saying that the film had been removed from quite a few places on the web. On LiveLeak itself (on the homepage itself) the following message is displayed:
Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some ill informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, Liveleak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove Fitna from our servers.
This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else. We would like to thank the thousands of people, from all backgrounds and religions, who gave us their support. They realized LiveLeak.com is a vehicle for many opinions and not just for the support of one.
Perhaps there is still hope that this situation may produce a discussion that could benefit and educate all of us as to how we can accept one anothers culture.
We stood for what we believe in, the ability to be heard, but in the end the price was too high.
I haven’t watched the movie yet (although I plan to after I write this), but if it’s anything like what I have heard about it, I’m honestly not that surprised. After the whole fiasco over one image of Muhammad with a bomb for a turban, I dread to think what repercussions will occur for a film that is purposefully against Islam.
Not that I think that such films shouldn’t be made, quite the contrary. I think the only way we twill ever get to a state of true global secularism is by continually showing these radicals that we will never give up. Once they finally realize that their threats and actions are not going to be tolerated, and that they should respect people’s opinions different to their own, maybe then we can have a sensible discussion over the whole matter. Acting like idiotic immature children (which they are) isn’t going to get them anywhere.
So, in case you want to see the film I’m going to link to it here. I found the two parts (10 minute and 7 minute respectively) on YouTube, although whether it stays up will be another thing.

I watched it before LiveLeak was threatened with death by extremists. Which, by the way, proves exactly what the film is trying to show people — that radical muslims continue to use threats and murder to get their way. I’m totally disgusted as I see innocent people all over the world murdered by these violent freaks and the leadership in the western world for the most part, turn a blind eye — or worse — like the Dutch, actually apologize for the film and beg muslims not to burn down their country or murder anyone. Is this what the world has come to? You thank muslims for not murdering you? Disgusting. Mr. Wilders is one of the few politicians with integrity who continues to tell the truth in the face of hysterical dhimmis who gladly give up our western freedoms for their muslim overlords. I salute you, Mr. Wilders, please carry on, you are a lone voice but an important one.

Freedom of speech is no more my friends.
It’s a good video and a bad video. It only shows the bad side of Islam, people shouldn’t take this as “Oh, all Muslims are like this” that’s not the case, the extremists are like this, not all of them.

Europe is inhabited by a bunch of cowards. I repeat, Europeans are screaming cowards that deserve all they get now.
Free speech is built on the blood of millions of our ancestors. When did free speech at any time in history come without a price?…NEVER.
Isnt there a saying.. Those who would give up freedom of speech and Liberty for temporary security deserve neither. Oh how true this is!
One thing I do know is that in the last century our fathers and grandfathers, their wives, brothers and sisters WOULD NEVER have allowed a fanatic cult to shut them up. They were prepared to die to prove it. Today we dont even get a bloodied nose and were crying surrender! Cowards, the lot of us!
I am ashamed to my core to wear the title of British, and European!
