I like the overall message. But the word obfuscates it in the worst way. Sorry, just my opinion.

Joking aside, I had never heard about the “brights”. Doesn’t seem a bright word, though. It looks like the math-nerds-with-glasses-and-acne club in your local school, where the geeks like to joyfully play chess and discuss the technobabble of Star Trek. Alternatively, it could be about some kids who think themselves as geniuses.

Of course, the fact that this “meme” has been around for 5 years now and it’s still underground tells me a lot about the efficiency of that word. Doesn’t convince me in the least. Na. Thumbs down, count me out. Get a better word.
