I just don't understand. I really hope you can convince him. Does he know that there are people like me who would really like to watch the debate, but can't because we don't live near the event? However it is not my debate to organise, and the decision would be with the CU committee, as long as everyone debating agreed. Since not everyone agrees (and bear in mind that the guy who doesn't want to be filmed is on my debating side) we are stuck. I'll have a talk with Dan (my debating partner) but even if I were able to convince him I'd have to convince the two Christians as well. Some good news though. Our student group had a meeting today to discuss various group projects, and further debates were a popular idea.
