Happy Darwin Day!
Happy Darwin Day everyone! Only one day after this blog’s birthday as well, hurrah! Seems like Google is getting into the spirit, so I guess a load of fundie Googlers have resorted to using Yahoo Search for the day. What is everyone doing for Darwin Day? I’m personally sitting at home watching movies, but on Saturday I’m going to the Darwin exhibition in London (and I’ll take loads of photos to show you all).
I’ve also realised that Ive gone a whole week without writing up a report of the debate I participated in, so expect some kind of elaborate re-telling of that later on today. Oh, and thanks for all the blog birthday messages you’ve been leaving on the birthday post; they really help inflate my ego, so keep them coming.
I don't think too many Fundies will be getting uppity about it as google.com hasn't gone for the Darwin graphic :-( I guess this may be a time zone thing and may change but it wouldn't surprise me if they're worried about upsetting the sensitive Fundie fruit-loops.
I love the graphic they chose. It's very pretty and not in your face about it. :D
As for Darwin Day, I'm going to D.C. for an Anime convention so I'm missing the local Darwin Day festivities here on Boston. But I will wear my Atheist T-shirt.
Happy Darwin Day to you! I had to spend the day lobbying at our state capitol, but I did inform everyone there that it was Darwin Day! :)
The power that we deny, the power that frees us, the power that overcomes, the power that religion doesn't want you to know, the power that is yours and it costs nothing – in actual fact you will receive rewards beyond your comprehension. And, the power is SELF. All can be found within and yet we search the globe for some mystic belief some morsel to hang our lot. True freedom is yours for the asking – but like all rewards there is a cost, not of money, but of your time. Start to day, start looking withing and see the the calm, the peace, the warmth, the love. Try it…
